Having been introduced to Sales Blueprint by our investors we started with a review of our sales and marketing approach. We had recently introduced a new product and were looking to convert more of our existing users from an older version and build a solid foundation to sustain our future growth. We had gone through some difficult changes and needed to return to growing our top line.
After an initial diagnostic phase Sales Blueprint made a series of sensible and practicable recommendations and we agreed a joint implementation plan to see them though. This involved a clearer focus on new business activity and mapping the key sales activities across the sales process to maximise our sales effectiveness.
This work was followed with revisions of our key selling propositions for each target market and also improving the tools and skills we used in deploying them.
The results have been impressive. In our first full year following the work we achieved record numbers of new wins and each part of the business achieved its stretch target. Our new KPIs continue to work well in helping maintain our focus on new business. Since we first engaged with Sales Blueprint sales have grown from £7.2m to £9.4m and their help has been a major contributor to that success.
